Please join us as we present special guest Diana Batista, Educational Program Consultant with Adult Educators in SoCal, California Department of Education (CDE). Diana will be sharing several pertinent topics such as the CDE’s near term goals, state initiatives, and leadership projects. She will also share some valuable resources for Adult Ed level educators
As an Educational Program Consultant, Diana Batista currently works with Adult Educators in Southern CA for the California Department of Ed, under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the State funding, CA Adult Ed Program (CAEP). She has over 24 years of experience in Adult Education which includes teaching, administration and data collection and reporting for student testing. Having served as Administrator in several Southern CA schools, prior to CDE, Diana also led a dedicated team as the Adult Education Director for the CAEP Technical Assistance Project. Diana’s earlier experience includes leadership with our state leadership project focusing on technology integration, Outreach and Technical Support Network, supporting the Digital Equity and Distance Learning programs in California.
