Workshop: Using Zoom to Teach ESL Learners on Computers and Phones

In this hands-on workshop, teachers are guided through the basics of using Zoom to teach, with comparisons of the students’ and teacher’s views, on a computer and an iPhone, in Basic and Pro versions. Images illustrate functions of actions that are most useful in instruction, such as audio and video broadcasting, screen sharing, text chatting, breakout groups, and polling. Steps for setting up a profile as a Host are outlined and suggested settings for working with students are shared.
