We would like you to make time prior to the event to view the following:

"What Language Teachers Must Know to Teach Pronunciation" by Marsha Chan, Donna Brinton, and Judy Gilbert. An introduction can be found here https://marshaprofdev.blogspot.com/2018/02/what-language-teachers-must-know-to.html
It has a link to a captioned presentation of 1 hour 9 minutes Please note that the audio improves at 4 minutes (reading the captions at the start is helpful). This was the inaugural colloquium for CATESOL Teachers of Pronunciation -- before doing video-ready presentations became de rigueur. There is also a link to a handout. We hope that this will whet your appetite for discussion on how to apply some concepts in remote instruction and what additional topics you'd like to see presented during our Summer 2020 PD series.
