This workshop will explore what word stress challenges Chinese students may face, especially with the pronunciation of research-related key words. It will then suggest hands-on techniques teachers can apply to address these challenges, including colour coding, moving body parts and visualising pitch contours.
NB workshop attendees are kindly requested to bring some green, red and white paper cut outs. A multi-coloured pen will also come in handy!
