Teach a Tool: AntConc (CIRT-IG & TELL-IG)
5/20/2022
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Event Description
In this workshop, participants will use AntConc, a free corpus analysis "toolkit," to create activities for the classroom. Come to learn and practice (1) how to locate essential vocabulary from course texts to design useful and effective pre- and post-reading or listening activities, and (2) how to use AntConc with students to help them investigate key words in context, exploring everything from part of speech to grammatical behavior. This is the third of a three-part Teach a Tool series from the CIRT and TELL interest groups. No prior knowledge of corpus tools is required!
