Event Description
Unpacking California ELD standards ad
Join us for a practical, fast‑paced webinar designed to help educators confidently unpack academic standards and turn them into meaningful, accessible instruction. Together, we’ll explore the big educational goal behind a standard, identify what students must know and be able to do, craft aligned instructional objectives, and determine the level of thinking required. This session is perfect for teachers who want clearer planning, stronger alignment, and more equitable learning experiences for multilingual learners.

Outcome for Participants
By the end of the webinar, educators will be able to confidently unpack a standard, define what students need to learn, write aligned instructional objectives, and determine the appropriate level of cognitive rigor. This process supports stronger lesson design, clearer expectations, and more equitable learning experiences for multilingual learners.

This webinar will be virtual on the CATESOL Zoom room at no cost for all attendees.
