Event Description
Presenter Talley Caruso will share practical Canvas tips that make teaching easier, including using rubrics for faster grading, modules to organize course content, and announcements to improve communication. Participants will add their own ideas, and together we'll create a shared list of Canvas strategies everyone can use.
Talley Caruso is an Adult ESL educator and materials writer who helps people build language and digital skills through guided experimentation. She holds an M.A. in TESOL from the University of San Francisco, founded Os Dedicados, a virtual Brazil-U.S. exchange, and created Digital ESL, a research-based Open Educational Resource (OER) recognized by the British Council. She loves collaborating with other passionate educators and guiding the CATESOL organization as an active board member.
