How can teachers offer effective pronunciation feedback? Should we correct our students’ pronunciation? When is the right time to point out their “errors”? How can we do it to bring about lasting change in their speech habits? Join the TOP-IG team (Marsha, Randy, and Patryk) as we ponder these and many other questions related to effective pronunciation feedback. We'll provide an overview of current research on correcting pronunciation, discuss assessment in integrated skills courses and stand-alone pronunciation classes, and open the floor to hear your best practices when it comes to giving feedback that makes a difference.
