Description:
An Exploration of Teacher and Student Identities in Education Systems
Humans have evolved from hunter-gatherers to farmers to builders and innovators throughout our history. However, one thing has remained in common: there has always been different forms of teaching and learning involved in our quest for survival and growth. In this presentation we will look at our changes in teaching and learning and how our identities have been intertwined and shaped in these processes from the perspectives of psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, neurolinguistics and beyond.
Presenter: Dr. Nooshan Ashtari, USC
USC-IG Coordinator Hosts: Dr. Nancy Kwang Johnson, Jacqueline Lopez, and Holly (Yi) Gao
