Description: Exploring TEW
What exactly is TEW (Teaching English in the Workplace)? It is a broad field that encompasses a variety of teaching opportunities that range from University programs to non-credit workforce development classes. TEW can focus on a multitude of subjects including, but not limited to, studying business concepts, communication strategies, integrating technology, enhancing cross-cultural communications, or learning specific hands-on job training language skills. They all aim to enhance a learner's ability to communicate clearly in a professional/work environment.

Join us for a CATESOL TEW-IG panel discussion on February 10, 2021 at 5:30, with Nora Mitchell, Danielle Pelletier, Bentley Cavazzi, and Dr. Rueckert that examines the spectrum of opportunities of Teaching English in the Workplace. We'll present different fields and focuses you might be interested in pursuing to get into the field of Business English and Teaching English in the Workplace.
